lovely composition! i like that you left a lot fo the green field in the foreground - it builds nice anticipation towards the top third which is where the story really is in this photo - well done!

Gorgeous colors and composition. I would've liked to be there and watch it evolve. Did you take a lot of shots? Was it hard to pick? This one is a BEAUT!

@San G.: Took a dozen shots maybe. This one had the best tree silhouette. I cropped 2/3's of the pic away to zoom in artificially - hence the ridiculous noise. I had a 300m zoom in the truck but stupidly didn't take a minute to swap lenses - doh. Frankly, I'm a bit surprised so many people like this shot - I almost didn't put it up. You stare at a pic long enough and all you see are the warts. So easy to forget why you ever liked it. BTW, loved your Valentine series! Thx for stopping by, San.
