@Shuva Brata Deb: It's an old [125 years?] prairie church. It's probably got rows of pews in it. They may hold weddings and special events there - community meetings and such. I think it's more a museum than church now, but I could be wrong. I'm guessing the city owns it rather than a congregation. Note the lack of crosses and signage. Go back to Saturday to see the front.
So wonderful, the shadow and it's grip over the scene. Works superbly

@Masoud Nahali: Thx, M. It was rather eye-catching, kinda hard to ignore if you've got a camera around your neck.
Nice to see the back of yesterday's shot, and that shadow of the tree on the building makes an ordinary shot really striking!!! Great job!!

I think this picture is GREAT!! The shadow is awesome. And of course this building was made by wood from trees, so we are seeing wood (or it's shadow) in two different forms. The more I look at this picture the more I like it! It's like looking back it time to where the building came from.

@Val: Interesting take. Palo Pinto/Mineral Wells is an interesting area - different than the flat plain where we are.
Very nice how you caught the shadow.
