Near Hood, Tx
The space, the grandeur of nature, air and the sensitive eye of photographer ... This is a wonderful place in which I would like to visit)

@Violetta: It is very very hot here most of the time - bring sunscreen or a parasol. And beware the rabbits.
Good picture. Great contrast between the green colour of the inner circle and the outer yellow one. The tree attracts the eye to the horizon line.

The tree instantly commands my attention, so perfect in form. A fabulous composition full of vibrancy and interest, very neatly observed

@marc: Thx, m.
Great composition here.... don't know what exactly I like about this shot, but there's definitely something!!! It's just striking!! Maybe it's that perfect tree in the background..... nice work!!

@Susan: It was my first trip out with my new zoom Xmas lens. The compo takes care of itself but the execution reveals my unfamiliarity with the new toy. The pp ain't that hot either, IMO - trying to get the width down to 800px. There are legit reasons why you're perplexed.
Great colors and nice 'grass patterns' -- I really like this, great job!

A fine rural scene with the animals and the distinctive different in watered and non watered growth of the grass. An attractive image.

@Eleftheria: E-gurl! Your giraffe ate all the leaves off my tree!
fantastic landscape and lights...nice contrast and mosaics of colors

@Marco: Thx for visiting, Marco.
ahh the mean cows! haha I like this one...cause they are far away and I don't picture myself running. :)
Awesome shot there TEX!

@Lindsay: Ha. Next week I'm gonna post squarely in your comfort zone - green Winter pastures largely untainted by bovine. Oh, and ... I recently took a stark picture of a decrepit horse for balance's sake.
I think you underrate yourself saying the comp takes care of itself!!!! The camera can only do what the photographer tells it to!!! So you SHOULD take credit for the comp....... and as far as getting things small enough to load here.... well that just takes practice!!

@Susan: I'm happier with the 800px result if I start from a RAW file rather than a jpg - like this shot.
Very nice picture. I like the way it leads my eyes.

@Tore: Thx for visiting, T.

I love the composition of this picture... I could just gaze at it all day!

@Tracy: Thx, Tracy. Have fun with dat camera.
I really love this comnposition. don't see any rabbits, but that's OK! the angel really pulls one's eye into the image! very relaxing to look at.

@Cheryl: I almost stepped on a rabbit positioning myself along the fence line to take this shot - a title was born.
Photo bien cadrée et joli contraste de couleurs.

@Poemas: Thx for commenting, P. Welcome to Aminus3.
Cool shot. Very interesting composition with a striking contrast in the color of the terrain. Is this the same Shroom from LSB?

@613photo: Yeah it is! How in the world did you run across my little corner of the web? This photoblog is directly inpired by yours. Yours seemed a much more fun format than my old method of just blasting up a set of pics at picasaweb every time I came home from the bush with my CF card full. Everybody should go visit 613photo - it's gritty and consistavibacious.
