Precision Tilling -- Buck Creek Road near Tioga, Tx
The field looks immense like the sea. It has even the same bluish tone. This image conveys a sensation of peace. Was that your intention?

@Daniel: I don't think I'm smart enough to "intend" to convey anything. Heh. The sun was sinking fast and I was just matching that sky up with anything remotely interesting on the ground. The repeated rise/fall of water in this creek flood plain has sifted the soil accumulation into a table-top flat, sea-like field for sure. I've wondered if the color is due to a crop different than the usual Rye Grass in my pics. A crop better suited to the primo black dirt.
This shot is a perfect example of simplicity at it's best!!! Colors are so soothing....Nice catch on this one!!

@Susan: Okay, Miss "Level that stinkin' picture!" ... do you use Canon's DPP and have you ever discovered a straightening/leveling tool in it? 'Cause I sure haven't.
What's Canon DPP? I've never heard of that??????

@Susan: It's the processing software Canon includes with their cameras - like ours. I like it but I sure can't find a straightener on it for some strange reason. oh well - nevermind
