Great image...but question...why Pluck????
30 Mar 2009 10:39pm
@Susan: Pluck = courageous readiness to fight or continue against odds : dogged resolution
Who Knew???? Of all the definitions of that word...the one I wasn't familiar with!!!!
# pull or pull out sharply; "pluck the flowers off the bush"
# hustle: sell something to or obtain something from by energetic and especially underhanded activity
# overcharge: rip off; ask an unreasonable price
# pull lightly but sharply with a plucking motion; "he plucked the strings of his mandolin"
# strip of feathers; "pull a chicken"; "pluck the capon"
# gutsiness: the trait of showing courage and determination in spite of possible loss or injury
# pick: look for and gather; "pick mushrooms"; "pick flowers"
# the act of pulling and releasing a taut cord

@Stephen Phillips: Amen, bro. But, I'll tell ya, there was a certain robustness in the way this guy was geared out and geared up that might contain an even better message. Got a real "chicken-salad outta chicken-sh!t" vibe off him.
Is this near Trinity Park or near I-30? My husband's office used to be quite close (University & West Vickery).

@Lesley: Near Trinity Park - on the NW side of downtown. We ate at a great Mexican food restaurant a few blocks down the sidewalk in the direction this guy was headed.
