@Susan: This little town, Montague [pronounced 'mon-tayg'], is the least attractive place I've been in Texas. What a sad pitiful little town. Ghastly. All these other little towns have their own unique charm. Not Montague, yeesh.

@PD: This place looked like an old bank. Around here you immediately wonder if Bonnie and Clyde ever stuck it up back in the day.
It may not be a very attractive town, but this image is so appealing. Well seen.

@Pied Crow: Thx. The growth in the county bypassed this place after a new major highway shifted commerce elsewhere. This place is only surviving because it's the local seat of gov't - jail, courts, commissioner, etc. This and many other run-down buildings surround the modern court-house on the square. Very sad vibe there.
